City’s Mobile Office coming to Retreat, Edgemead and Leonsdale

The City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office will be visiting Retreat, Edgemead and Leonsdale next week. A wide range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewerage, electricity, water, refuse collections, and all other account enquiries will be provided. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the services that come along with each mobile office visit.
The details are as follows:
Tuesday, 19 August 2025, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Retreat Community Centre, Corner of Joe Marks Boulevard and Craddock Road, Retreat
Thursday, 21 August 2025, from 9:30 to 13:30 at the Edgemead Community Hall, 100 Edgemead Drive, Edgemead
Friday, 22 August 2025, from 9:30 to 13:30 at the Leonsdale Civic Centre, 12th Avenue, Leonsdale, Elsies Rivier
During these mobile office visits, the City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically. Customers can engage with the City on a wide-range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewerage, electricity, water, refuse collection and all other account enquiries.
‘These visits all form part of the City’s commitment to bringing services to various communities and making local government more accessible to residents. By bringing these services right to the residents’ doorsteps they can engage with the City on a wide-range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewerage, electricity, water, refuse collection, and all other account enquiries. Residents are reminded to bring along their IDs or municipal accounts to help ease the process on the day,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
